I have been using this size on the lake for perch and it really do perform.
Did try troll with it and was sceptical due to the horizontal tail but man did it catch perch.
As usual the Rick's molds shoots great.

These molds do a great job. I have used this with a 1 gallon baitplastics medium. Makes Plenty and "boy do they work" I also use the 1In silverfish w/eyes they do great for your bluegill and bass and carp and trout. It is a great filling catching off the lures you make. Highly recommend these molds.

I am new to shooting plastic but This appears to be an excellent mold. I got it with the laminate plate. Shooting without the plate was easy, the cavity's fill easily and the baits come out excellent. With the plate proved a little more challenging to me with my complete lack of experience. Once I got some experience through trial and error its not that difficult. What works for me is:
1) after pouring the belly do not cut the sprew off of each individual bait as they will turn in the mold while injecting the back and either block the liquid plastic from entering or cause a marbled pattern.
2) Only cut the sprew above the top baits and make the cut as clean as possible. If you dont get a clean cut it will fold over and prevent you from injecting the plastic.
3)I run my second plastic for the back a little hotter. If the plastic is not hot enough it will prematurely bond with the belly plastic near the front and not fill the cavity.
4) This may be frowned upon but I put cooking spray on the laminate plate to prevent the plastic from pulling out upon removal. Once the tail pops out of the slot its difficult to get back in. Using the spray has not caused any delam issues as of yet.
I ordered the 2.25" one with the eyes and they look great. Using a medium plastic they dance in you hand erratically when held by the nose. I have limited real world use with them because of the weather but was able to catch a few Crappie on them in a farm pond. In addition to using them for Crappie I am hoping to use them on a drop shot for smallmouth.
I would highly recommend this mold to anyone. Hope this review was helpful

These make a great bait.. Had to mill(or drill)out the end to fit other manufactures injectors. Baits also have a denting issue on the sides of the bodies but it doesn't effect the action on jighead or dropshot.
