2" Twister tail bait mold - 12 cavity - Two color mold (The bodies and tails are different colors)
Aluminum CNC machined, 2 piece, 12 cavity hand injection mold for a 2" Twister Tail bait.
The baits are molded at 1 1/2" long. The body diameter is 1/4"
This mold has 2 injection ports. One for the bodies and the other for the tails.
To use, inject the body port, open the mold and trim the bodies from the runner.
Then insert the molded bodies in the tail side, close the mold, and inject the tail port with a different color.

I rated it 4 star only because I thought the body would be a little larger. I love the mold and the way it pours. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a easy mold to pour and a nice looking bait. The two color ability is great it makes two color baits so simple. Hope to see a 21/2 or 3 inch bait in the future.

One of the easiest molds to shoot. Jacobs makes the best small baits molds period. Also, really fast shipping. Will be ordering more soon.

Just got this mold today. It is my 1st Jacobs mold. As soon as I opened it, I shot 10 doz grubs. They were all perfect. Not 1 bad bait. Very impressed. Easy to use and uses minimal platic. Shipping was SUPER fast as well.

I just used the mold today for the first time. I heated the mold up on a hotplate--just until it got warm. Heated my plastic up to 350 and injected the bodies--they came out perfect, no flash. I injected with normal pressure and held it for a ten count. Next I injected another round of bodies, same results--perfect! Now I put the bodies in the tail side of the mold. They went in very easy! Close the mold and clamp the tail side. Next heat the tail color up to 340-350 and inject them. I use normal light pressure and held it for a ten count. The grubs came out perfect! No flash and great adhesiveness to the body. Super mold!! Some observations: the tail sprue is located approx. a half inch up the tail--be careful when removing the baits from the sprue so you don't tear the end of the tail off. 2. I used .08 glitter in the tail side and it injected threw the small hole very well. Hope you guys try this mold, this is the easy way of shooting two color baits. If enough guys try this mold; maybe Rick will make it in a 21/2 or 3 inch mold!
