I received your mold last week and tried it out. It worked very well and the jigs came out perfect. This is a very precision mold -- the best I have ever used and I have 30+ molds. I'm pleased to find someone who still takes the time to do quality work.I'm 83 years old and like to tie flies and make my own jigs for a pastime. Thanks again and nice doing business with you.

I discovered the Jacobs mold on the internet quite by accident. After reading a few reviews I decided to order one. Before I could get one ordered a friend of mine bought one so I asked him his thoughts on it. He raved over it so I placed my order that same day. The mold came very quickly. I opened it and poured some jig heads that same day. I am very impressed at the quality of the product. I have used a similar mold made by another company for years and the jig heads have not been nearly as pristine as the ones with the Jacobs mold. I will recommenced it to all of my friends.

I am a novice; never poured before. The mold worked great with few problems. My main problem was cutting off the excess from the pouring hole, but I will learn to do it better. I poured using wheel weight lead that I had previously melted, cleaned and poured in a muffin tin. The wheel weight lead worked fine using a bottom draining melting pot.

This was the first jig mold I'd purchased from Jacobs Mold & Machine. I was a bit concerned that it would be difficult pouring these tiny jigs, but it turned out to be very straightforward. I made about 100 jigs and they came out very well. I'm impressed with the machining on the molds, and very fast shipping.
